Chai loves to perform all over the world

We create a concert that is performed each year at the concert hall in our own community. Every year we add new choreography and music to our repertoire as well as new costumes. Our show is comprised of several medleys of music that represent Israeli and Jewish culture from all over the world. We have mastered huge ensemble pieces for performance that represent culture from Russia, Ethiopia, Spain, Morocco, Yemen, Europe and Israel etc, as well as pieces that are more modern and those with a musical theatre flair. We have performed with the WSO The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, and own all the symphonic arrangements that accompanied our two-hour gala concert. The entertainment value is high impact as all of the choreography is set to live music - a full orchestra and singers.

Chai is the ideal entertainment for any celebratory, educational or commemorative event where Israel and the pride of the Jewish people is the focus. We can tailor make any show to fit the needs of any community event or celebration. Chai is a cultural feast suitable for any high-powered high expectation affair.

How to bring Chai to your community

We would be pleased to send you out a promotional package of material. Please contact our Administrative Director, Reeva Nepon, at the Chai office at rnepon@aspercampus.mb.ca or phone 204.477.7497. Once you know the following, we can help to determine a budget:

  • The date and time that you are looking for a performance
  • The venue: How big is the stage? Name and contact information at the theatre
  • The type of performance you would like - What is the event? For example - Israelšs Independence day, community celebration, an event to honor a special person in your community, an cultural educational experience etc...
  • Be sure to mention any themes, and if you need help with any creative ideas, we have a highly talented artistic team that would be thrilled to assist.
Once you have had an initial discussion with Reeva, she will bring the opportunity to the Artistic Director, Tracy Kasner and the Production Manager, Ian Kirk. They will work with the organizers of any event to ensure that Chai is the right performance experience for your event and to ensure that Chai can deliver their best performance taking into consideration budget and facility and any other necessary arrangements.
